Pennsylvania, Feb 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The police in Pennsylvania are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a gas station in Herminie.

The robber was wearing a dark cloth like that of a mummy on his face when he robbed the bank. Nobody was injured in the robbery. The man who was wielding a hatchet when he robbed the gas station managed to escape with an undisclosed amount of cash before the police got to the scene. The robbery happened on Monday afternoon at about 3 pm.

The police released further details about the man. They say he might be a white male and stands between 5’5’’ and 5’9’’. The police say they believe that he is in his thirties and has several of his teeth missing.

Residents of the neighborhood were shocked. One resident said that she believed that whoever robbed the place might be a local of the area.

She explained that, “Everyone knows each other [in town], we know each other’s business, so, it’s kind of hard to get into trouble, without someone knowing what you’re doing.”

Another resident though was shocked that the robber chose to rob with a hatchet. The police are appealing for information from the general public that might help arrest the robber.
