Rebecca Wells, 51, died in her cubicle in Los Angeles County Department of Internal Services
February 17th, 2011 - 11:25 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Feb 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A 51-year-old employee of the Los Angeles Country Department of Internal Services has been found dead in a cubicle that she was working in.
Rebecca Wells had earlier told colleagues on Friday that she wanted to complete some assignment that she was doing before heading home. She was found dead the next day in the cubicle that she was working in by a security guard. The police say they do not suspect any foul play in her death.
The 51-year-old was not working from her office on the last day that she was seen. She had decided to work from a large location that had cubicles. According to a colleague that she worked with, there were no phones or colleagues near where Rebecca chose to work.
No foul play is what shocks many of her colleagues that saw her hours before she died. One colleague said that Rebecca didn’t show any sign of illness or unhappiness when she last saw her. In fact she was feeling very happy because she had just become a grandmother. It is believed that she died while she was working. The police are not speculating any cause of death and want to wait for the coroner’s report to know exactly what caused her death.
