Vero Beach, April 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A raccoon turned out to be the bandit that had been stealing the purse of golf lovers at a course in South Florida. When the officials at the golf course finally found the hideout of the animal, they found some of the things that the animal has ‘stored’ up in the bushes.

According to the officials at the Sandridge Golf Club in Vero Beach, the raccoon seems only interested in snatching the purse of women and golf balls. A report by WPTV.com said the animal manages to snatch the balls by sneaking into the bags of players. A ‘raid’ at the animal’s hideout yielded two women purses, food wrappers and some golf balls. With the bandit at the golf course identified, the officials at the course have now directed their attention at catching the animal.

That has not been as easy as they initially thought. The elusive animal has so far failed to fall for the baits that the groundkeepers keep in the trap. A golfer is the last person that saw the animal at the course.

He explained that the animal sneaked into his golf bag but managed to escape before he could get there.
