Seattle, Oct 11 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A modern day superhero has been arrested by the police. 23-year-old Phoenix Jones is accused of assaulting several people with pepper spray but he claims that is not the case.

According to Jones, he is a crime fighter and the officer who arrested him is actually a vendetta. During his “save-the-planet” stunts, Jones wears a mask and a costume which include a bulletproof vest. The costume also has several armor compartments where he can conceal other weapons. However he always chooses to carry a legal taser gun and pepper spray can.

Jones denies any wrongdoing and during an investigation with reporters said that, “One cop just happens to have a vendetta, and he was the arresting officer… I’m going to be acquitted of all charges, and I expect the Seattle Police Department to apologize to my family for putting them through this. I’m Phoenix Jones I can’t change who I am.”

Jones says he keeps a regular daytime job and working at the night was his way of fighting crime. He has a Facebook page which is dedicated to recruiting those who believe in what he is doing. He also keeps his fans updated on what is going on with both texts and real footage.

In his last Facebook post, Jones revealed that he will post the video of his last crime fighting incident on the page after his lawyer has reviewed it.
