Maine, Mar 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A plumber in Maine demonstrated his displeasure with his town’s decision that he believed would lead to more parking lots on the streets in his neighborhood. He has subsequently left some structures on his lawns to remind the authorities that their decision stinks.

The man, David Linscott, has built more than a dozen toilets and painted them in various colors on his lawn. Linscott believes that the move would eventually let the authorities in the town realize that the move to close an elementary school in the neighborhood to make way for more parking lots is a wrong one.

Linscott during an interview with Foster’s Daily Democrat said people were wandering on to his lawn after the town’s decision to close the elementary school. The closed elementary school has led to the expansion of a middle school in the same neighborhood. The expanded middle school is now where motorists are parking their cars.

Linscott has built a total of 17 toilets each with distinct color and design on the lawn of his home in Kittery. He built the toilets last fall and the structures have been standing on the lawn since then.
