Oregon, June 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Plane enthusiast Bruce Campbell is now converting an out-of-service grounded Boeing 727-200 aircraft into his dream home in Oregon’s forest. Campbell claims that he loves living in the 727 passenger jet, which contains wonderful views, three bathrooms, and has no neighbors.

To enter and exit his new home, Campbell has to lower the jet plane’s stairs. He has electricity and plumbing in working order. His shower does not enjoy much privacy, as he has installed it in the jet’s main cabin, where he has ripped out dozens of passenger chairs, allowing Campbell to have space to keep his things, which are still packed in cardboard boxes that he has placed along the cabin floor.

He has no radio or TV but he uses an iPod touch so listen to music while he works in converting the plane into his new home. Campbell claims that his favorite part of his home is the plane cockpit. In warm weather, the wings make great decks, easily accessible though the jumbo jet’s emergency exits.

The total cost of Cambell’s home project has already exceeded the amount of two hundred thousand dollars.
