Ohio, April 6 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An Ohio man is in trouble for barking at a police dog. When Ryan Stephens was asked why he was shouting at a police dog, he allegedly told the officer that, “He started it. He was harassing me.”

Ryan was seen with his face just 2 inches away from the rear window of the police car that the canine was in. Officer Bradley Walker was the officer with the animal when the incident happened. He reported that he was responding to a crash at Mason Pub on Sunday morning when he heard the dog barking.

Walker say when he got to the car, he found Ryan with his face close to the rear window of the police car barking at the dog at the back of the car. According to Walker, when he confronted Ryan he said the dog first barked at him prompting him to bark back at the dog. The police report stated that Ryan smelled of alcohol and he also had blurred speech prompting Walker to suspect that he was intoxicated.

Ryan is expected to appear before a municipal court on the 21st of April. He has been charged with harassing a police dog.
