London, Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man was forced to “gift” out £2 million to his former wife after he won £56 million lottery earlier this year. The gesture wouldn’t have raised any eyebrow if the woman had not been the cause of the breakup.

The man, Nigel Page, 44, was sued by the ex-wife, Wendy when she learnt that he has won a massive lottery. She reportedly wanted £8 million of the total. However Page opted for an out of court settlement and he has been ordered to part with £2 million for his ex-wife who walked away with another man some ten years ago.

The incident has left Page devastated. It has however increased the party mood of Wendy who was spotted shortly after the ruling partying with another man in her house. Talk of rubbing it in!

Nonetheless, Page should still have plenty of money to throw around if he hasn’t done so already. He reportedly wedded his girlfriend, Justine Laycock shortly after he won the lottery. The pair then moved from their £400,000 home to a more plush and luxurious £4 million environmentally-friendly mansion. He also moved his family to Dubai where their bill reached £70,000.
