New York Bride Faked Terminal Illness?

Sep 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A New York bride who resorted to faking terminal illness for getting wedding gifts free has been accused by her husband. Jessica Vega the 23 year old woman who had tied the knot with Michael O’Connell is hogging the attention of the media presently. Everything from the couple’s honeymoon to the bridal attire of Jessica Vega was arranged by the family members and strangers who donated readily for the couple’s wedding. They made headlines at the time they had tied the knot for this reason.
At that time the husband believed about the terminal illness of his wife. However, now he is claiming that she faked the ailment and has come up with a doctor’s letter as his evidence. Michael O’Connell has said that he communicated with Dr. Dan Costin’s office and then found out that his wife was never seen by him or his office staff. Reportedly the woman had made a claim that she was terminally ill and would survive for a year. She also said at that time that she was in love with her beau and would like to experience motherhood. This did the trick and she did not have to pay anything for the wedding dress or even the decorations for her wedding.
The people who donated money for the wedding are naturally shell shocked and they are saying it is nothing short of an emotional betrayal. The enraged husband has applied for a divorce and he also wants the custody of the daughter who is barely a year old now. The reaction of the bride is yet to be known.
