New Jersey, April 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A duck has chosen to lay its eggs in a landscaping near a Chick-fil-A drive-thru in New Jersey. Witnesses suspect that the animal had been hiding at the place for some time now but was only discovered recently when the place was replanted. It was not clear how long the animal had been hiding at the place.

An employee at the restaurant said she spotted the bird and the eggs on Tuesday. The landscape was recently cleared and replanted by gardeners. When question by the Associated Press on Thursday, Karen Montone who first saw the fowl, said she has provided the animal with food and water. The report did not indicate if the animal was in any kind of danger after straying into the location.

Montone is currently caring for the animal because of the fact that it finds itself very far away from its natural habitat. Observers are curious as to why the duck chose the place to lay its eggs.

The report said the number of eggs in the duck’s nest was not known. It was also not known when the eggs will hatch.
