Mathematics Professor charged with urinating on the front door of a colleague

prof Northridge, Jan 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A mathematics professor at the Cal State Northridge is in trouble for urinating on the front door of a colleague. The incident was found offensive enough by the colleague who lodged a complaint with the police.

Prof. Tihomir Petrov and the colleague are having a dispute. Subsequently, when Petrov decided to use the front door of the colleague as a urinal, the colleague found the action unacceptable. He lodged a complaint with the police and 43-year-old Petrov was arrested.

He has been charged with two misdemeanor counts of urinating at a public place.

Petrov was caught red handed in the act when the school authorities installed secret cameras after they found what they suspected was urine on the front door of the other colleague.

Later review of the camera showed Petrov urinating on the front gate of the colleague. The report indicates that the other colleague is also a maths professor at the same department that Petrove works.

He is due in court on Thursday after being arraigned before a Los Angeles Court.

Petrov is a professor specializing in algebraic geometry and algebraic k-theory according to the website of the school.
