Man Slapped With DUI While Operating Lawn Mower

Tennessee, Apr 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is wrong to assume that only those who drive cars under the influence of alcohol can be slapped with DUI charges. In a bizarre development, a man in Tennessee has been arrested for DUI charges when he was operating a lawn mower. The man is Jimmy Graham Jr., who is a 30 year old Tennessee resident. The police arrested him after he reportedly failed to clear a sobriety test. He had to give the test as the cops suspected that he drank liquor. Jimmy Graham Jr. said that he took beer along with a stress reliever prescribed by the doctors. The cops recorded his statement.
After slapping DUI on him, the Athens police took him into custody. It has not been known if he has got in touch with an attorney for fighting the case. He has also been accused of stealing fishing poles from a house. The incident has made people somewhat shocked and amused. It is not known whether anyone was arrested under DUI charges while using a device like lawn mower which is not a vehicle as such.
A police report has shown that Jimmy Graham Jr. tried to pick some poles from a house he stopped by. Later, the man who is the owner of that house reported to the cops that some fishing poles from his house could not be found. The report has been published in some web sites and it has drawn the curiosity of the viewers. It is not clear whether the man had any criminal motive or the charges slapped against him are exaggerated.
