Capitola, Nov 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) If you plan to rob, the number rule is that you must know your escape route. One robber however forgot that basic lesson during a bank robbery on Saturday late morning. After the robbery, the man realized his mistake and offered to give anyone who would offer him a lift in his/her vehicle for $1,000.

He told bystanders about his offer a block away from the bank. Somehow he managed to escape before the police got to the scene. Police say they are investigating the witnesses to know who might have offered the man a lift to make headway in their quest to track the man down.

According to the facts on the case, the robber entered the bank at about 11:40am on the fateful day and ordered a teller to hand over $20 and $100 bills. When the teller seemed slow for the robber, he allegedly pushed the teller aside and jumped on the counter before making away with unspecified amount of money.

After he escaped from the bank, he stopped at just a block away and began offering anyone who will be interested $1.000 for him to be taken to Santa Cruz. Police have mounted a search for him and any information from the public is welcomed.
