Portland, Ore., Oct 31 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man has been arrested in Oregon for breaking into a house. Police say the burglar actually went to the house to watch television. 32-year-old Jason Leon Bastrom has been charged with illegal trespass.

According to the police, Jason entered the said house on Sunday and made himself comfortable on the sofa while watching the television. The owner of the house saw him and called the police. The owner also called a family member to the house. The family member came to the house ahead of the police and confronted Jason. The family member attacked Jason and struck him unconscious in the process.

When the police got to the house, they took Jason to the hospital where he received treatment for the knock. He was later sent to the Multnomah County Jail where he was booked and kept.

He has been charged with criminal trespass and is scheduled to appear before court at a later date.

The intention of Jason remains unclear to the police but such incidents are not uncommon. Earlier this year, a burglar was arrested in London after a family returned home to find him sleeping on a bed. The burglar had even helped himself with a shower.
