London, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A couple who won £40,627,241 in lottery have indicated that buying a new carpet is their number one priority. The couple is not eyeing just any carpet. According to Catherine Bull, the carpet in the house need some change so that is what they will do as a shopping priority.

Gareth Bull looked “as white as a sheet” when he got to know that he has hit the jackpot. He won the Euromillions lottery last Friday. The irony of the whole issue is that Gareth never planned to buy the ticket. According to the 40-year-old said he only decided to buy the ticket after the rain forced him to suspend going to work.

When asked how the couple plans to use the money, Catherine explained that, “I did say a carpet for my landing because it’s terrible. Nobody’s allowed upstairs. It bothers me. I get to the top of the stairs every day and I’m like ‘I hate that carpet’.”

Gareth and his family became the seventh biggest lottery winners in the history of Britain. With their new fortune, the Bulls have become the 1,647th richest people in the country. The family already has a home so they don’t plan to build another one with the lottery money.
