screenshot1Nov 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mark Jacobson reportedly owns a lampshade that is made of human skin. In the first glance any body can mistake it for an antique lamp shade that is found in many other houses. Then you may notice a parchment-like fabric stretched over eight panels, that is almost translucent and transparent. However, if one gets even closer, he may be haunted with the most uncomfortable feeling, when he would notice the yellow material marked with strange pores, filaments and patterns that establishes the fact that it made of human skin.

The lamp shade weighs about a pound. But once Mark Jacobson came to know that it is made of human skin, it seemed even heavier to him. The lamp shade is expected to be one of those real Nazi Lambs, that were made out of the skin of the Jewish killed in the concentration camp. So far, there has been several instances where people thought some of there lamps to be one of them. However none of them were proved. The case of Mark Jacobson was however an exception. He sent a sample to Bode Technology near Washington DC for a DNA test. He was awestruck to know that the material used in it was “100 percent Human”. DNA evidences also showed that it has been made about 80 or 60 years back, with a frame of European design. However, the reports have not yet been able to establish whether the skin belonged a Jewish victim of the concentration camp in the Nazi era.

To him, it is the most difficult and appalling to use human skin as a house hold object. He was disgusted when he came to know that it was made of human skin. To him it is no more an antique asset.
