Killer sharks invade golf course in Australia
October 11th, 2011 - 12:32 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattBrisbane, Oct 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A golf course in Australia presents a whole new challenge to the players. Losing the game will definitely be the least of your problems when you know that a foot at the wrong place could throw you into shark-infested water.
Killer sharks have infested the water at the Carbrook Golf Club in Brisbane. According to the officials at the golf course, the water became infested with the dangerous creatures after the recent major flood in the Queensland area of the country.
The course managers believe the sharks offer fresh reasons for people to come visit. The general manager at the facility told reporters that he throws in meat into the pond from time to time to encourage the creatures to come to the surface.
General manager Scott Wagstaff told UK’s Sky News that, “I’m sure they are aggressive when you are in the water but when you are out here feeding them they are beautiful to watch.”
The sharks are matured and they are sized between 80 and 10 feet. The golfers enjoy the presence of the creatures and they are given the chance to spot the location of the animals before they tee. That sounds like a good idea to me!
