July 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A job applicant in Barrie Ontario has pretty much assured that she will not be getting the job she was interviewed for, or any others most likely for quite a while, after making the news because she was caught shoplifting in the very store for which she had just finished interviewing for a job.

Canadian police state that the accused shoplifter made their jobs very easy when she left behind a resume, which gave away her identification as well as location when she fled the scene of her alleged shoplifting spree.

The woman, who has so far managed to remain unidentified met with the manager of the store for a job interview, after filling out an application and handing in her resume. She finished her job interview, shook hands with the manager, and turned around to browse through the store. Along her sight-seeing trip through her desired new place of employment, she decided to help herself to a “five finger discount” on several items in the store.

She was seen on camera in the store surveillance taking the items, and was chased from the store by employees. Although she managed to escape, she was easily found by the police, once the manager handed over her job application.

After a thorough screening of the store’s video surveillance, it was discovered that this is not the first time that this woman has shoplifted from this particular store. She had been in the store the very day before her interview, and had, in fact, stolen the exact clothes which she wore to her job interview, along with several other items.
