Indiana man loses life after playing Russian roulette with his dog
June 10th, 2011 - 7:52 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattIndiana, June 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) An Indiana man lost a game of Russian roulette with his dog. The unfortunate thing is that when you lose a game like Russian roulette, you don’t live to regret it.
Russell Little who is said to be suffering from depression reportedly placed the revolver on his head and pulled the trigger. Unfortunately the bullet blasted through the head of Little killing him. The incident happened on Tuesday at about 9 pm.
According to reports, Little placed a single bullet in his revolver and rolled it. After that, he pointed the gun at the head of his pet and pulled the trigger. The gun failed to go off sparing the dog’s life. However when he tried his luck, it seemed to have run out with the bullet ending up in his own head.
Animal right groups are worried that people like Little are allowed to keep animals as pets. That has raised a new debate on who should be allowed to keep animals as pest.
His widow who has been mourning her loss told the police that Little had been drinking at the time the incident happened. Little died from his wounds when he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
