gsm1New Mexico, Mar 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It is quite surprising that a hurt dog found the way to ER of a hospital, all by himself. Though it is unbelievable, it is true that a German Shepherd mix had rushed to the emergency room of the San Juan Regional Medical Centre in New Mexico for treatment. As per the reports, the staffs of the hospital were taken aback when the automatic door of the hospital opened and a dog entered the emergency room.

According to the reports, the dog was suffering from multiple injuries, when the staffs of the emergency room first saw him. It has been reported that the dog was suffering from a painful puncture hole in a leg. He had not only injured his legs but also was reported to have blood on his paw and nose.

Though the German Shepherd mix dogs are known to possess more intelligence than some other breeds, the act of this dog has been quite astonishing for everyone. Hospital staffs, who were present at the spot did not waste much time for the treatment of the dog and called up Robin Loev, an animal control officer to inform about the condition of the dog.

Robin Loev, who has to deal with several animal injuries and other such problems, made the necessary arrangement for the treatment of the dog. It has also been reported that the animal officer considered that the bite of some other dog might have caused the injury. The latest reports on this case indicate that the dog has returned to its owner.

Good thing Obama’s health care is going to pass. Now, the animals medical bills will be covered.

Yes, and hopefully you and the people that think health care is not a right unless you have a fat pocket book will not be covered or get any health care. When you don’t have something is the only time you seem to appreciate anything. So, let’s take it away from you. Only in this country, and only in the past 50 years has medicine and health care become “for profit”. Why do you think all of the most decorated health institutions where started by churches? The same churches that you used to tith (donate) money to, and that was 10 percent of your income, not .3 percent (the amount to pay for even the most outragous cost claims. Christians before you thought that it was a basic right, but now you don’t. Guess your pocket book get to weigh in on your religous beliefs now? Good luck for you with St. Michael, when you get to the gates!

Yes, ruffruff I am one of the elitist rich with my $50k a year salary. No, I still do not believe in the government health care plan. While your argument does sound perhaps a little compelling for a second, I still disagree with you. Please look at government’s track record for the proof. I know that I do not even need to look up the numbers for these tidbits because the facts speak for themself. Social Security is facing insolvency (AKA bankrupt). Medicare/Medicaid are also going under if you had not noticed. Programs like the Postal Service are losing BILLIONS with a “B” each year. Those are the only governmental programs that are really comparable to what the private sector has to offer, and; if the government was a business,it would have filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy a long, long time ago. As for the Entitlement programs, politicians promised that the coffers of Social Security and Medicare/Medicaid would not be touched. However, the people in office can never keep their promises, and their “hands are always in the cookie jar”. That is one of the biggest reasons those entitlement programs are going under. Now, we are supposed to trust the very same government as it wants to create another huge entitlement program when they cannot even pay for the bills they already have (Yes, I know Medicare/Medicaid would no longer be funded). Perhaps, you would run and buy the latest and greatest big screen TV when you cannot pay your mortgage. Now, I am sorry that I do not want the government to control another twenty percent of our economy given its track record. You also make the argument about cost and being a humanitarian. This plan will cost us more in the long run. Perhaps, you are unaware that our country has an enormous deficit. A huge new social program does not help the country at this time. I am sorry that I do not want to give an additional eight percent of my salary to taxes to support those who do not have insurance. That is eight percent of my income that I cannot spend buying whatever it is that I need to survive. While that might sound selfish to someone as righteous as you, my spending does stimulate the economy and people have jobs as a result of money being spent in the private sector. People have to produce/manufacture, deliver, and people have to sell the very goods I buy. The few thousand dollars the government takes out of the private sector from me alone will cause jobs to be lost. Multiply that decrease in consumer spending, and you might get an idea as to where this is actually going (a ripple effect). Do you also know that the US deficit is going to drop the country’s bond rating? I read a small AP article buried in today’s newspaper that talked about that very thing happening (even before this garbage bill passes). You might be asking what does that mean? That means means any interest rate is going to shoot up. Credit cards, mortgages, any borrowing whatsoever is going to cost every American citizen or company more. Companies will not borrow to expand (Create jobs) which means more people will be in your shoes. Foreign investors will be scared away as bonds become less secure, and there are already plenty of them here. We will be visiting the Carter era all over again. I am really sorry that I do not share your belief that the government is the answer. Actually, I think the government is a bigger part of most of the major problems this country faces rather than the solution.

I also think I pay enough taxes, as a single taxpayer, before this boondoggle adds another eight percent of my salary. The following is what I paid as a single taxpayer last year.

    $8,000 Federal Income
    $3,100 Wisconsin Income
    $3,600 Property Tax–House assessed at $130K
I did not even include FICA or Medicare Tax. I am already down to $36K (of my $50k salary) to pay all of my bills like mortgage, utilities, insurance, vehicle payments, donate to charitities etc., etc. Now, the government wants another eight percent because I have a “cadillac” health plan. I am sorry that might not sound like much to the “millionaires” like me who will be paying for this plan on their backs.

I am sorry as I think government at all levels has gotten out of hand, and I am against taxation without representation which is what all of these public servants are providing. I have a few parting questions for you. If this plan is so good, how come the Congressmen/President are not going to be covered by it? How come all of the slimy back door deals/bribes to various states to get this passed? Why, if this this plan is so good?

PS-I think your comment about me getting into heaven is a little out of place. I do not know what you do for a living, nor do I even care. I work in a profession (firefighter/EMT) where I risk my life to try to care for the safety of others. You don’t even know me, and you are preaching to me about God. Please, I do not think that you have that right.
