March 20, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Nowadays, dogs have seemingly become capable enough to find their way to Hospital! Recently, in New Mexico an injured dog walked into an ER unassisted. It is mind-boggling that a German shepherd who was hurt reached the emergency room of San Juan Regional Medical Centre.
According to staff at hospital the canine was injured badly and limped his way to the hospital. He had puncture marks on his legs and was also bleeding profusely from his paw and nose. There were a lot of wounds on his body and so he was in genuine pain. The injuries were likely to be incurred in a fight with other dogs.
German shepherds are considered as intelligent dogs. Everybody in hospital was shocked to see this. The medical personnel at the hospital were careful enough to pacify the dog and call for back up from the Animal Control Unit who rushed Officer Robin Love to the scene. They immediately took that dog to the emergency room for treatment. The doctor who treated the dog was Robin Love, an experienced animal control officer.
Robin Love made a special arrangement for the dog and all the possible facilities were provided to him. The dog was later discharged and taken home by his grateful owners. How the dog achieved this is unthinkable, for he not only walked over to the hospital but also located the emergency room.

Hi,
German Sheppard next to Labrador Retrievers are the smartest dogs in the world.
Or this could be visa versa. For a dog to fined its way to a hospital and locate the
emergency service area is a feet of incredible social understanding. Given the fact
of the how intelligent German Sheppard’s are they can pickup and understand more then what us humans think. I have worked with service animals for the past seven years. It would not be unheard of given the intelligence that this dog learned it from television or some other form of outside stimulation.

This is great news. Contrary to those who believe GSDs’ are only to harm .. this dog under stress of injury only sought treatment of injuries & love.
Much thanks to Max (founder of German Shepherds).
