dogFarmington, New Mexico, Mar 17, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a rather bizarre incident, a dog walked into a medical facility after sustaining injuries in what is being presumed to be a dog fight. The incident took place in the San Juan Regional Medical Center, which is situated in the city of Farmington in New Mexico.

All the staffs and the doctors of the medical center were in for a huge surprise on Saturday night when a wounded German shepherd walked into the emergency room of the hospital. The dog was in quite a bad shape as it had blood all over its nose and paw and also sustained a puncture hole in one of its leg. While narrating the incident, animal control officer Robin Loev revealed to reporters that the animal, who was an eight year old male dog, was not doing well and appeared to be quite sick when the hospital authorities called animal control so that proper treatment and care could be administered to the injured dog. It was further stated that the puncture hole in its leg might have been sustained after it was bitten by another dog. While taking about the dog, Robin Loev added that the German shepherd appeared to be calm and intelligent.

After animal control officials arrived at the hospital, the wounded dog was shifted to Farmington Animal Shelter, where the animal was cleaned, fed and also received vaccination. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the injuries suffered by the dog was not very severe and it was reportedly later claimed by its owner in the animal shelter itself.

When every thing in the world is chaos, ie; televised brutality, it is so nice to hear something more positive. People should take lessons from this dog and the people who helped him….stay calm, use your brain and help each other.
