Hebert Chavez undergoes cosmetic surgery in order to look like Superman

Manila, Oct 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man in the Philippines dreamt for years of looking like the Superman. 35-year-old Hebert Chavez had plastic surgery in the bid to look like the comic hero.
On Monday, Chavez wrote on his Facebook page that, “I decided to look like Superman because since I was a kid, I want to be like him, and I know that having a look like Superman will make me happy and contented as long as I don’t hurt anyone.”
On his motivation, Chavez wrote that he decided to look like the Man of Steel in order to inspire other people to be all that they want to be. It is not clear the work that Chavez does but the plastic procedure would probably be an expensive one.
Chavez might have misspent his money though. Judging from the reactions on his Facebook page, the friends of Chavez do not seem too pleased with the transformation. Some made it clear to him that his decision was an intelligent one.
He placed his former image and his Superman image on his Facebook page. The difference is sharp.
Late actor Christopher Reeves initially played the role of Superman in the 1980s. Brandon Routh has been playing the role since 2006.
