Miami, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The US authorities have indicated that they will not be moving a grand piano that mysteriously appeared on a sandbar in Miami Bay.

The piano is estimated to weigh at least 650 pounds. The piano seemed to have been carefully positioned in the sand to avoid the tide from washing sea water in to it. The coast officers are at a loss as to how the piano got to the shore.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission have indicated that the piano will not be moved as long as it does not pose any immediate danger to those traveling on the water and the creatures in the sea. The commission revealed that it is not their responsibility to be moving such a thing.

A spokesman for the commission, Jorge Pino said that, “We are not responsible for removing such items. Even a car can become a habitat for wildlife. Unless the item becomes a navigational hazard, the Coast Guard would not get involved.”

It is not only the wildlife authorities in Florida that are denying responsibility for moving the piano. The Miami police and the fire service have all denied that they have to remove structures.
