01253 June 18, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): The famous heiress Gail Posner startled the world by bequeathing the majority of her riches to her dogs. She had been inordinately fond of her pooches with Conchita being the favorite. They had been used to every kind of luxury imaginable while Gail was still alive. However, her will has confirmed that they will never want for luxury even with their owner being dead and gone.

A trust fund of $3 million along with the huge mansion at Miami now belongs to the dogs. The Wall Street Journal however reports the grievances of Carl who is the only son of Gail. He accused the household aides of having influenced his mother to squander away her property. They are the ones behind the change of will, he informed irately, quite peeved about receiving an extraordinarily paltry sum of $1 million from his mother.

He also accused the aides as being behind the promotional campaign of highlighting Conchita as the most spoilt dog in the world. Conchita, apparently, was accustomed to having a full time staff and owned diamond jewelry apart from sporting different wardrobes on all the four seasons.

Carl has also filed a lawsuit contesting the contents of the will at the probate court of Miami-Dade County.

Posner had given her last interview to the New Times, in February last year, where she had described her special relationship with her chihuahua, Conchita. She had also discussed her desire to launch a specialized fashion line aimed at dog lovers. The outfits will be a matching pair for the pet and its owner, she had divulged.

However, it would be wrong to say that she had only thought of her dogs while making her will. Most of her staff including her bodyguard as well as her aides will also be getting considerably richer and can continue to live in her mansion. The only catch being that they will have to care for her dogs.
