Manila, Jan 4 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A murdered Filipino official on New Year’s Eve managed to capture a vital information on his camera- the image of his assassin.

The police in the Philippines had a very simple task of locating and arresting the two men that were captured in the picture. The local councilman, Reynaldo Dagsa had taken his family outside their home and was taking pictures of them just outside their home.

His wife, mother-in-law and daughter were standing beside the family car waiting for Dagsa to snap the picture. Just as he pressed the camera for the picture, his attacker shot and the Dagsa died on the way to the hospital. Remarkably, the family members who were present told the police that they did not hear the sound of a gunshot. It is believed that it was probably due to the fire crackers that were flying into the skies at that time.

When the last picture that Dagsa snapped was viewed, the image clearly showed the attacker and another man that was on the lookout for the attacker. The image was sent to the police who had it published in the dailies in the country. The publication of the images led to the arrest of the two people.
