Zurich, Dec 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) UBS has ordered its female workers not to wear tight skirts and colored underpants.

The order was contained in the bank’s new dressing code. The 44-page document that contained the dress code advised workers to wear loose fitting skirts with flesh colored underwear. The dress code also forbids wearing of flashy jewelry and artificial nails to work.

The Swiss bank further urged its employees to ensure that they do not come to work with tattoos, anklets, piercing and such things because according to the bank, they do not portray professionalism among the staff.

The document also advised that if workers of the bank wear artificial hair, they should ensure that their natural hair’s root was not showing. Long and tight shoes were also forbidden in the dress code book. The document said that wearing tight-fitting shoes stresses the wearers and can therefore compromise their professional attitude.

The documents said that, “Underwear must not be visible against clothing or spilling out of clothing. Rather, they should be flesh-colored under white shirts. Women should not wear shoes that are too tight-fitting as there is nothing worse than a strained smile.”
