Duchess of Devonshire gets stalked at 90

A 75-year-old pensioner was arrested for stalking and pestering the older lady. His intentions? He wanted to marry her. When he was sent before a court, he was ordered to stay well clear of the duchess, that is, if he wants to remain a free man.
The judge also ordered the stalker Michael Andrews, that he should stay well clear of the town of Chatsworth. Andrews lives about 80 miles away from Chatsworth in York. He has to also avoid calling or texting the duchess or her house.
During the hearing at the Chesterfield magistrates’ court, the prosecutors told the magistrate that Andrews and the duchess met last November in Edensor. After the pair chatted, they said goodbye to each other. Well, to Andrews, it was not goodbye yet because he kept contacting the duchess and at a point, he even proposed marriage to her.
His proposal was rejected by the duchess but that did not stop Andrews either. According to the prosecution, he kept harassing the duchess and later tried to contact her.
When the duchess could no longer take the constant harassment, she called in the police leading to the arrest of Andrews.
