Dog wins America’s Wackiest X-ray contest

Oregon, Oct 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Veterinary doctors from USA took part in a bizarre contest – America’s Wackiest X-ray contest. Apparently they had to submit the craziest X-ray that they had come across. People’s pets swallow all kinds of crazy stuff and when their stomach is X-rayed then the swallowed objects can be clearly seen.
One dog had swallowed a full set of billiard balls and needless to say, when his stomach was X-rayed then all the pool balls were clearly seen and the X-ray was bizarre to say, the least.
The x-ray was submitted by the Bayshore Animal Hospital and it won the top prize, hands down.
The owners of the dog weren’t aware about the mishap and when they noticed that their dog was becoming lame then they took him to a veterinary doctor. The reason behind the lameness was found when they x-rayed the dog’s stomach.
Other entries in the competition included a dog who had wolfed about his owner’s set of false teeth and a little dog had swallowed a full bottle of gum.
