Apr 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) For this British mother- daughter duo, a trip to Disneyland in Paris turned in to a major disaster scene when they were prevented from entering the fantasy park’s premises. The reason for the same is nothing less than bizarre.
According to reports, the twain were barred from entering the Disneyland grounds because they were dressed as fairytale princesses: and this is where every children’s fantasy is supposed to come alive! Later accounting the details of the whole encounter, the agitated mother, Natasha Narula said that she felt immensely “stunned and humiliated” when the Euro Disneyland officials had prevented her from entering the park grounds on account of her donning a princess gown. The 35 year old mother said, “I thought they were playing a joke on me because it was April Fool’s Day.” To her, it felt like Cinderella’s story was being repeated all over again, when the maiden of the fairytale was told she could not attend the ball.
What added to her dismay was the fact that in order to share a very memorable Disneyland trip with her 8 year old daughter Drew, Natasha had planned on the donning some royal looking princess gowns. However, now it can be made out that the idea was not all that effective, considering the present circumstance. Though one thing can be said, that this would be a trip that the duo will not be able to forget anytime soon, thanks to the Euro Disneyland officials.
On the park’s side, a spokesperson stated that they have a global ban imposed in the park which restricts adults from wearing ‘fancy dress outfits’. This is prevalent so that they are not mistaken as the park officials by other visitors.
