Disabled dog’s wheelchair is stolen, company donates a new one

New Hampshire, June 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A New Hampshire company came to the rescue of a disabled dog, whose wheelchair had been stolen. The owner of the dog – David Feeney was surprised to find that Lucky’s wheelchair was stolen from his abode. David Feeny and Lucky reside at Temple Street in West Roxbury.

However David was amazed to find that he got a lot of support after the discovery of the theft. “The disaster that happened yesterday is now turning out to be a wonderful experience. It’s been overwhelming the support I’ve been given. Somebody must have grabbed it right away. Who knows why this happened.”

After the discovery of the theft, David called the police who aided him by hunting for the missing wheelchair. However they were unable to locate it. The story of the missing wheelchair was then reported on the news and it caught the sight of a company – HandicappedPets.com

The company then donated a wheelchair for Lucky and now with the aid of the contraption, Lucky would be able to be mobile.

“We wanted to do anything we could to right a wrong,” according to HandicappedPets.com spokeswoman Lisa-Marie Mulkern. The donated wheelchair is said to cost more than $500.
