Atlanta, Nov 29 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A man in Atlanta got the second time lucky when he won a $1 million state lottery. Delma Kinney defied massive odds recently when he picked his second win in a matter of three years.

The 50-year-old played Georgia Lottery’s instant Super Millions game and got lucky. His first $1 million win was in 2008 from the same game. He is a single father so he used part of the winnings to fund his three children’s college education. With that seemingly taken care of, Kinney says he is going to donate part of the latest winning to charity.

Kinney bought the winning on impulse saying he had gone out to buy a cold medicine. When he got to the Chevron Food Mart, Kinney said he decided to try his luck and that turned out to be one of the luckiest things he has done.

He told newsmen that, “I was just out and stopped for cold medicine. I sat in the car with the ticket, and when I saw the matching numbers, I knew.”

The Super Millions instant game is one of the common games in Georgia. Players can win up to $5 million.
