Nov 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a rather bizarre twist to a robbery case, the robber, who looted a delivery man, returned to the same restaurant where his victim worked only to be identified and arrested. Sgt. John Delaney of Massachusetts’ Police said that they arrested 23 year old Edward Blatch at the Fu Wong Restaurant in Springfield after the delivery man, who he robbed from, identified him and surrounded him with the help of the employees of the hotel till the police arrived.

Police reports indicate that Edward Blatch and another unidentified person robbed the delivery man of Fu Wong restaurant at gunpoint after he called for a food order from his restaurant. The police said that the robber met the delivery man outside the building where he was supposed to deliver the food and said that he had to go inside to get the money. In the meanwhile another man pointed a gun at the delivery man and even threatened to kill him. They took with them $200, the cellphone, the food, car keys and even the high school class ring of the victim. The crime reportedly took place on September 20. On Monday, Edward Blatch turned up at the same restaurant and the delivery boy was able to identify him instantly.

Edward Blatch was arraigned on an armed robbery charge this Tuesday at the Springfield District court. There are no reports yet whether he has an attorney or not. The case has received widespread media attention due to its bizarre nature. The employees of the restaurant have remained tight-lipped on the matter to the media.
