Dead woman breathes again after being placed in the morgue
September 28th, 2011 - 1:13 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattCali, Sept 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A woman who was pronounced dead and placed in plastic for the morgue was found breathing again. The daughter of the woman said she went near the mother to say goodbye but found her breathing again.
She told reporters that when she exclaimed that her mother was still alive, they thought she was joking. However when the doctor later came into the morgue and examined the body, he concluded that the woman was not dead and she was brought out of the morgue into the intensive care unit.
The woman has been placed on life support.
The daughter, Rosangela Celestrino, told reporters that, “I went to give my mum one last hug, and I could feel that she was breathing. I screamed out – my mum is alive! And they all looked at me like I was crazy. Not only did I have to go collect my mum from a cold storage drawer at the morgue, but when I got there, I find her still breathing,”
It is the nightmare of everyone to be declared dead when in fact they are not. A morgue in Turkey recently announced that they have installed motion sensors in their freezer to ensure that when people wake up from the dead, an alarm will be triggered so that the person could be saved.
