Dec 10 (THAINDIAN NEWS) When Becky Cooke first poured the Healthy Living Chips from the bag onto a pan to cook, she thought one of them, the small, dark colored one, was burnt. She began to scream non-stop, however, as soon as she realized the horrifying truth; it was no burned oven fry, the small dark form was a frozen dead mouse!

Cooke, a thirty year old mom with two children said that she had purchased the bag of pre-cooked potato wedges from her local grocery in Poplar, East London. She decided to make a complaint to the co-op, and sent the packet to the grocery chain’s head office. Cooke was given an apology, and £50 worth of vouchers good for any purchase, but she says that she will not be shopping there again.

Not long before this terrible occurrence, a resident of Oxfordshire, Stephen Forse went through a very similar incident when he was making sandwiches for his kids. The family had already eaten some of the loaf which he was using at another meal, but this time, Stephen noticed a dark object embedded in the corners of three or four pieces of the bread. At first he though it was just darker dough which made it past the inspectors.

But much to his horror, he soon realized that the “dark dough” had fur on it. The manufacturer of the bread was ordered to pay Forse fines and compensation of £17,000.
