Crocodile eats a woman’s cell phone in Ukraine
January 25th, 2011 - 9:22 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattKyiv, Jan 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) When a woman walked to the workers of an aquarium in Ukraine and complained that a crocodile at the aquarium had eaten her phone, they initially didn’t believe her.
When the phone was called however, the workers couldn’t believe their ears when the phone started ringing from the belly of the reptile. The woman explained that she accidentally dropped her cell phone into the mouth of the crocodile while she was trying to take a picture of the animal.
The woman, Rimma Golovko is worried that she will lose great deal of information if she doesn’t get her phone and SIM cad back. However before she can do that, the crocodile has to bring it out the natural way. That is something that the crocodile has not yet done.
Speaking to reporters shortly after the incident, Golovko explained that she was impressed with the crocodile and when the animal opened its mouth, she decided to get a shot of the spectacle on her phone.
She explained that just as she stretched her arm to get the shot, she lost the grip of the phone and it went straight into the mouth of the animal who wasted no time in gulping it down.
