June 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) On Tuesday, an arrest warrant was issued from the authorities in Madison County, Nebraska for Harris-Moore, on charges that he allegedly stole cars, airplanes, and boats, and officials think that these break ins are connected to the infamous character known as the “Barefoot Bandit”.

Nebraska authorities believe that the bandit, a nineteen year old boy is directly responsible for thefts which were worth as much as 1.5 million dollars collectively. Harris-Moore escaped from a group home in Renton after he was placed there when he pleaded guilty to burglary when he was a juvenile.

It is thought that Harris-Moore started his trek out of the Northwest in April when he made his escape. He allegedly donated a hundred dollars to a Raymond animal hospital and then supposedly stole a $450,000 yacht from IIwaco which he used to get across the Columbia River. They found the boat in Warrenton Oregon where police discovered that he was identified as the suspect.

The boy then allegedly stole cars on his trek toward Idaho, and then the trail went cold around Boise on June 12. DNA and fingerprint evidence is being collected from the various break ins in an effort to verify Harris-Moore’s connection.
