Texas, July 15, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems the legend of chupacabras has made a comeback in Texas to haunt it residents like never before. The mythical animals which literally means “goat suckers” is believed to be active in the Northern region of Texas after two beasts which looked strikingly similar to the legendary cryptid were killed there earlier this week.
It has been reported that two coyote-like creatures were found in a ten mile stretch of North Texas this week and the local residents have expressed alarm that the unidentified animals might be the chupacabras. A 25-year-old Hood County man, David Hewitt who was responsible for killing one of the animals revealed to news sources that he had never in his life seen anything like the two bizarre creatures. He further went on to state that from a distance the animal looked similar to a chihuahua but much bigger in size and without any hair while emphasizing that the animal seemed to be a chupacabras from all quarters. After the curious-looking creatures were killed, officials have divulged that DNA testing is being undertaken to know more about these animals.
According to Benjamin Radford who happens to be the author of a upcoming memoir on the myth of chupacabras this is not the first time that a the bizarre animal has been located in Texas. He has also revealed that in the last five years, there have been as many as five instances where people have claimed that they have spotted a chupacabras. Whether the animals that have been killed are just ugly-looking dogs or actually were a duo of chupacabras is still under evaluation.
