Cavity search leads to 50 heroin bags

Scranton, Mar 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Northeastern Pennsylvania police has announced that they have been able to recover more 50 bags of heroin and other prescription drugs following a cavity search on a woman. The police has subsequently charged her with drug related charges.

27-year-old Karin Mackaliunas was arrested and detained by the police last week. According to the police, they arrested Karin after they found three bags of heroin in her jacket. When the police took her to the police station, Karin told the police that she still has some of the heroin in her vagina. The police then sent Karin to the hospital for doctors to recover the bags hidden in Karin’s vagina.

Doctors managed to remove about 54 more bags of heroin along with 31 empty heroin package bags, some prescription pills and a cash of $51.22. All the recovered items were then handed to the police.

Karin has been charged with drug possession with intent to distribute among other charges. The police arraigned her for a preliminary hearing on Monday.

Karin was held on a $25,000 bail bond and it was not clear whether she has a lawyer or not.
