Dec 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) A nativity play’s rehearsal turned out to be quite unfortunate when a camel lost her balance while it was attempting to fold itself. The name of the camel is Lula Bell and when it was sitting (known as “crushing”) it fell on the churchgoers in West Palm Beach’s First Baptist Church. Moreover, her rider, who was playing the role of third wise man was thrown out of the audience bench as a result.

It was quite a messy incident that took place and the video footage of the event shows the camel Lula Bell strolling down the aisle before it attempted to sit or kneel on the floor. However, the video shows that as the camel attempted to kneel down, one of its knees was misplaced and she landed on top of the several churchgoers who were present there to see the rehearsal of Christmas pageant. On of the eyewitnesses, Liz Reilly, said that the audience were in a state of shock after the incident. However, luckily no one was injured.

Liz Reilly told a reputed media source that the camel Lula Bell was unhurt in the incident as she managed to stand up and walk out of the place. On the other hand, First Baptist Church’s pastor Chuck Lewis, after the accident, told a reputed media source that Lula Bell had some problems in her right front knee before the rehearsal. However, keeping the safety of the people in mind, the camel has been taken away from the rehearsal. Moreover, one of the organizers said that First Baptist Church at first wanted to bring a donkey on the show. Meanwhile, two lambs and sheep are expected to take part in the one week long Christmas pageant rehearsal.
