Dec 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It came as a shock to the residents of Park Crescent, Darlington when they came to know that a brazen burglar duped them into thinking that he was a man of repair although he was stealing the vehicle. The eyewitnesses later said that the man was well dressed and he chatted with the neighbors before taking away Mark McMullen’s car Audi A4. When the owner returned home, he found out that his expensive car was missing from outside and then he informed police. The incident took place last Monday.

The investigators said that the burglar broke into Mark McMullen’s home from the back door and stole the keys. Surprisingly, he used the owner’s kettle to boil water so that he can defrost the car. The neighbors later told the police that they thought that the man was from a car repair shop and he was picking up the car for repairing it. On the other hand, the victim Mark McMullen seemed devastated as his expensive vehicle had been stolen. He told a reputed media source that the whole incident is really unbelievable.

Mark McMullen said that he still cannot believe that the thief broke into his house and stole the keys of his cars. Moreover, he also said that the burglar boiled water from his kettle and then cleaned the snow from his car as his neighbors watched the entire incident. He called the whole incident to be “ludicrous”. Mark McMullen said that the burglar also stole other household objects from his home. However, the victim said that he is relieved on one sense that his wife and daughter were not present at the house during that time.
