Burglar caught after falling asleep on bed
September 23rd, 2011 - 11:19 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Sept 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A burglar forgot where he was and decided to take a nap that turned out to be a costly one. The occupants of the house returned and to their uttermost shock some expensive valuables have been removed from the house.
They didn’t have to look that far to see the culprit and the things though because right on the bed, the burglar was taking a nap. According to the police, the man took a shower after he had ransacked the house and later found the bed irresistible. Deciding to help himself on the bed, he fell asleep and was only woken when the occupants got in.
The police were called in and the burglar was picked up. An officer of the Wichita Police Department narrated how the burglar was arrested to the media.
The officer said that, “He had broken into the residence, began gathering items of value around the house, took a shower and then fell asleep. He then was awoken when the individuals came home.”
The burglar had been identified as a 35-year-old man and he is due in court later. He has been given various burglar-related charges. The incident happened at a neighborhood at Wichita.
