Burger King Staff Fired After Francisco Perez Receipt Insults
November 19th, 2010 - 1:22 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonNov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Burger King fast food restaurant in Sacramento, California has fired a few of it’s employees after a customer was insulted by typed expletives on his receipt at the drive thru window.
Francisco Perez said that he was shocked as he looked at the receipt which he was given after ordering a cheesebuger at the drive thru window. The words F*** You were clearly printed not once, but twice on the receipt for a Double Whopper with Cheese, onion rings, funnel cake sticks, and a small drink.
His late night run for food gave him quite a shock as he saw the words where the customer number would usually be. He stated to KTVU, “All I did was place my order and got a “f-you” burger. Actually, I am embarrassed. It’s humiliating. ‘I showed the guy and he just kind of laughed. There was no “Sorry, we’ll fix it”.
He said that he had done nothing to provoke the employees. When a representative from Burger King called and offered him vouchers for free food from the restaurant chain, he refused, according to the Daily Mail.
