London, Nov 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A British woman walked around 12 years with a pool cue tip in her head! 31-year-old Chantel Faill suffered constant flu-like symptoms during the period and when it seemed she had lost all hope of ever feeling better again, her problem came to an end.

Doctors are calling it a medical miracle that the woman was not killed by the tip of the cue when it stayed stuck in her head all these while. Chantel, a mother-of-three, was injured at a local pub in 1999 when a friend accidentally shoved a cue into her mouth.

When Chantel was rushed to the hospital, the doctors gave her painkillers and sent her home. She has had constant runny nose and headaches since the incident. She also watched as the side of her face swell.

As Chantel seemed to be adjusting to her condition, she got a lucky break when a sneeze brought out the tip of the cue in her mouth. She rushed the thing to the hospital and the doctors told her she is lucky to be alive after all these years.

Chantel said that, “’It was such a huge shock. I’m still taking it in to be honest. When it happened back in 1999 it was really horrific, my whole face was swollen for weeks and everyone kept asking me what I’d done.”
