Bird drops poo on Sky Sports News reporter Ian Bolton live on air
October 25th, 2011 - 8:24 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Oct 25 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sky Sports reporter Ian Bolton had something to laugh about when a bird let down its droppings on him. Normally it is considered a good luck when such a thing happens to someone but Bolton will not count himself one.
During his report on the Champions League match between Chelsea and Genk at the Stamford Bride, the seasoned reporter had his suit soiled when the flying bird let down the droppings. The incident was barely caught by the camera because the visual of Bolton’s report was just about to be aired. The camera missed the bird but it was obvious that it was flying way above the towering Stamford Bridge structure.
Chelsea had a big win in the match walking away with 5-0 win. The club is chasing its first glory in the competition. Despite the huge investment of club owner Roman Abramovic since he took over the club, Chelsea has failed to win the coveted cup which is considered the prime of European football.
The closest that the club came was in 2007 when they ended up in the finals against Manchester United in Russia where they lost in the penalties.
