A Chatham Woman Calls 999 Police Cops To Find Her Missing Snowman!

Chatham, Dec 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It was a bizarre experience for Kent Police when a woman from Chatham called 999 to say that her snowman has been stolen. However, this incident has annoyed the law enforcement officials so much that they have recording of the 999 call and have issued a warning to general people not to blame the police for their silly mistakes. The police has called the woman “completely irresponsible” after she made the call to speak about her missing snowman.
Simon Black, the Chief Inspector of Kent Police said that the call from that Chatham woman could have cost someone else’s life if there was a real emergency and they could not reach the police. He said that she was completely irresponsible. However, Simon Black said that law enforcement officials have spoken to that woman and explained her the meaning and significance of 999 call. The police said that the lady made the eyes of the snowman with coins and arms with tablespoons. However, the woman expressed her complete disappointment and said that the she knows that she does not live in a nice road but at the end of the day she does not expect that someone would steal her snowman.
The taped conversation completely proves that the operator was stunned when he heard that a lady has dialed 999 to report about her missing snowman. The operator was heard asking if “snowman” was any ornament but the lady said that it was a “snowman made of snow”! The police said that the woman must have thought that she should report to the police as she made the eyes with pound coins.
