90 year old woman going on her first prom date with her great-grandson

The inhabitant of Missouri - Hasselteen Rumbo had never been to prom, and now her wish is going to come true, even though it is late by over 7 decades. Hasselteen Rumbo divulged to KMBC that her husband wasn’t interested in dancing and she also boasted of two left feet, so she never went to her high school prom. However her great-grandson was upset when he heard that and he wants to change that, so he is taking her along as his date to his high school prom.
Hasselteen Rumbo is very excited about the prom and she has also got a sequined black dress for the occasion. A local church has donated the dress to her. She is very happy and upbeat about the upcoming event and said that, “Why not? I’m ready. When I turned 90, everything just exploded. I’ve never been to a prom, and it’s awful.” She also added that she wants to see what happens in a prom, so she would go there and “see and be seen, and I want to see what’s going on.”
