Westland, Niyogi bag best publishing awards
August 31st, 2011 - 8:41 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Aug 31 (IANS) A biography, “JS & The Times of My Life” by Jug Suraiya, published by Westland Limited and “Middle Time”, published by Niyogi Books were awarded for “excellence in book production 2011″ by the Federation of Indian Publishers at the ongoing Delhi Book Fair 2011.
The runners-up prize was shared by Orient Blackswan’s “Dalit Personal Narratives”, “True Face of Jinnah” published by Universal Voice and “Commonwealth Games: An Extravaganza” by Pitambar Publishing, an statement issued by the Federation of Indian Publishers said Wednesday.
Certificates of merits were awarded to “Creating A Desired Future Through Dream Action” by Tata McGraw Hill, “Gain Wisdom” by Pustak Mahal and “Yoga of Objectivity” by Chennai-based Arsha Vidya Research & Publication Trust.
In the vernacular segment, the prize for excellence in production was awarded to “Abhinav Anubhav Abhivyaktiyan” by Tata McGraw Hill and “Nelson Mandela: Conversations With Myself by Orient Publishing in Hindi.
