Wal-Mart expects huge Black Friday Sales in 2009

New York, Nov 18 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Wal-Mart’s much-awaited Black Friday deals for 2009 are the talk of the town, as Black Friday is around the corner and people are focusing their energies to finalize their shopping lists. Primarily, Wal-Mart deals will focus on a range of gadgets such as high-definition TVs, laptops and Blu-ray players, as well as the traditional holiday favorites such as toys and DVDs, according to a copy of the retailer’s circular. With its great deals in electronics as well as in the traditional gifting domain, Wal-mart expects a huge turnout on Black Friday and thus its sales are also going to be quiet awesome.

Wal-Mart has not yet officially announced all of its the Black Friday deals, but Melissa O’Brein, a Wal-Mart spokeswoman has confirmed that the Wal-Mart Black Friday deals include the following:

50 inch Sanyo plasma HDTV – $598
Magnavox Blu-Ray disc player – $78
TomTom GPS system – $59
Reversible Fleece jacket – $7
Childrens sleepwear – $3

Wii Play Bundle for Nintendo Wii for just $39
Xbox 360 120GB Elite System w/ Free $50 Gift Card for $299.99
Xbox 360 Black Controller for $39.00
Lexar 4GB microSDHC Memory Card for $10.00
Lexar 4GB SDHC Memory Card for $10.00
Electronic Gadget 3-Slot Charging Station for $14.99

Wal-Mart will also be announcing weekly savings starting from this Saturday onwards, on popular toys and video games, which they say, are comparable to the Black Friday sales. The Wal-Mart Black Friday 2009 deals also include an iPod touch 8 GB for $195 and a free $50 iTunes gift card.

Many of the deals starting on this Saturday are for gaming packages, for example when you purchase either Band Hero or DJ Hero you will receive a $40 Wal-Mart gift card, a lot of these deals will end November 27th.
