Tips For Cocktail Party Appetizers For The Festive Season

Christmas is not far away guys, so it is better you brush your culinary skills with some good recipes. The charming platter of the French Charcuterie is perfect to start with. It is basically an assortment of cured meats with a combination of garnishes through cornichons, olives and pickled onions. You can even add a different side to this platter without losing the original charm of the dish. Just try out some Salt Cod Fritters or the Bolinhos de Bacalhau as it is known.

Another great recipe comes up with the Tapas or Pintxos, a delicacy from Spain, where the platter comprise of meats, eggs, cheese along with olives. The entire dish is meant to be served on a toothpick or on mini slices of bread. Wonderful it is isn’t? Innovation can also be added in this dish if you wish to play with or you might as well go along with the Spanish traditional dishes like “Gilda”. Over here a Spanish chile pepper, along with an anchovy and a green olive is stuck together in a toothpick or a pawn, or even to a bacon brochette.

Other options like smoked fish and fresh fruits are also a great combination for appetizers. Prawns and bacon will also serve a great purpose. One final tip is that of the Piperada another traditional dish which is an egg dish. It is an excellent item for brunch. You can make slight modifications in it by serving the piperada on toasted bread with butter dripping from it.
